Family Table is awesome! Food is delicious and the people are so nice. My husband and I both work full time so it’s so nice to have healthy home cooked meals and spend time with our daughter in the evenings rather than cooking and cleaning.
As empty nesters who 1) hate to cook and clean up after a big meal; 2) are sick and tired of everything we have eaten in the past; and 3) don’t want to experiment with new recipes, Chef Mike and Family Table has been a wonderful “find” for us. We’ve ordered twice now, three meals each time. Everything has been delicious. We still have some leftovers in the freezer, as the portions are quite generous. Everything is beautifully packed and ready to go, either to your oven, refrigerator or freezer. It’s been great to hear “what’s for dinner?” and be able to answer “something new from Family Table.” Thanks Chef Mike and staff. Keep up the good work!
Excellent!! We have many dietary needs in our family. Chef makes all the special request we ask! The food is so fresh and so good! Our steak dinner was better than Cadillac Ranch! The delivery is so helpful to this busy single mom! They are very friendly to talk by phone if have ! We will be long time customer 's ! Soon we will be ordering extra for daughters graduation 🍗
The food from Family Table was delicious and better than a lot of restaurants. Pot Roast, salmon and the chicken pot pie were all delicious as well as the sides. It’s a very convenient option for busy families. It may not be at an affordable price point for everyone but I plan on ordering from them again In the future. I highly recommend
5stars all around? Can't be real...right? Our family is here to tell you FTPGH is legit the real deal! For close to two months now I've been remote ordering/delivering a-la-carte for my Pitt-based parents and couldn't be happier...and more at ease that their dietary needs are being met. Fresh. Delicious. HUGE portions. Timely delivery. Chef Mike/family and Jennifer O'Leary are Yinzer-strong. FTPGH is a tremendous value I highly recommend.
We just got our first meal delivered yesterday and it was amazing. I wasn't sure if it would be enough for my family since I had 5 of us eating from what we ordered but it was more than enough. The food was amazing and it was really easy to prepare, we just needed to heat the food up. I definitely would recommend Family Table!
Just got done eating my first meal from Family Table and it was amazing! I have been struggling to cook myself healthy, filling, delicious meals because cooking one meal for myself and another for my very picky toddler was getting to be too much. I finally decided to outsource dinner and Family Table delivered tasty meals that felt like I had spent hours cooking from scratch. It was so easy...all I had to do was heat it up and enjoy! Will definitely be ordering again and I highly recommend everyone in the Pittsburgh area giving them a try!
Chef Mike and his team are creating meals that are better than home cooked! Like Chef says, just heat and eat! The servings are generous and the the food is full of flavor and well prepared for ease of keeping your evening simple and delicious!
Just wow! I was hesitant to order a catering type of meal service but this is a game-changer. The portions are very generous for restaurant quality balanced meals. The family meals are listed as 4 portions but will easily last us 8 or more meals. We will definitely be ordering again on busy weeks and leaving freezer bags so we have ready-made, hearty, tasty meals for the week
Just wanted to take a moment to write a review on my experience with The Family Table and Chef Mike. We had our first meal this evening. We had never experienced having someone else cook for us and delivery a meal to our home. We thought it would be kind of fun to try something different and treat ourselves. We originally wanted to order a Thanksgiving meal and made an order to do that but then life changed (as life does) and we ended up being away for Thanksgiving. Chef Mike was extremely understanding and provided us a credit to use when we were ready. We decided that Christmas night would be the perfect time to sample his food and so we placed our order and was notified that it would be delivered to us on Dec 23rd. That afternoon we received a first text message that our meal would be delivered between 12noon and 6pm. Then to our surprise around 11:00am we received another text message that our food would arrive in about 30 minutes. At noon Chef Mike's wife pulled up in front of our home and delivered a well packed meal for us to enjoy. I was a bit nervous about getting the meal on the 23rd and not being able to enjoy it until Christmas night but Chef Mike assured me the food would be fine in the refrigerator and provided clear instructions on how to heat the food properly and to what temperature. WOW!!! What an amazing meal we had! The food was wonderful, the portions were more than enough for the two of us and even the rolls came out of the oven piping hot and perfect! We also ordered his pumpkin pie and his blue berry muffins for which we are still fighting over who gets the last one....Just a wonderful experience all the way around and we look forward to our next meal from him. Thanks Chef Mike for a great meal and a great experience!
